Terms & Conditions for DoctorGuru & PatientGuru

By downloading or using the DoctorGuru or PatientGuru app, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully before using the app.

1. General Usage

You are not allowed to copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks.

You must not attempt to extract the source code of the app, translate it into other languages, or create derivative works.

All intellectual property rights related to the app, including trademarks, copyrights, and database rights, belong to DoctorGuru / PatientGuru.

2. Service and Access

DoctorGuru & PatientGuru are designed to provide a secure and efficient platform for healthcare professionals and patients to connect. We reserve the right to:

Modify or update the app at any time.
Introduce or remove features as needed to improve performance and user experience.
Offer premium or subscription-based features with clear communication before any charges apply.

3. Data Collection and Privacy

The app collects and processes data necessary to offer personalized healthcare experiences — including user profiles, appointment details, and medical notes shared between doctor and patient.

We do NOT collect or store sensitive health information without your consent and do not share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your data is securely stored and managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. User Responsibility

Users (both doctors and patients) are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of their information and ensuring all communication within the app remains respectful and professional.

You must not misuse the platform to share false information, spam, or inappropriate content.

Doctors are solely responsible for the advice and medical recommendations they provide through the app.

5. Internet and Network Usage

Some features (such as appointment scheduling, chat, or video consultations) require an active internet connection.

If you use the app outside Wi-Fi, your mobile provider may charge you for data usage. We are not responsible for such charges.

6. Limitations of Liability

While we strive to ensure the app operates reliably, we do not guarantee:

Continuous, error-free service.
Accuracy of medical data provided by users.
Responsibility for third-party service interruptions (e.g., cloud backups or payment gateways).

DoctorGuru and PatientGuru act only as digital platforms. Any consultation or advice shared is solely between the doctor and patient, and the app is not liable for outcomes resulting from such interactions.

7. Updates and Termination

We may update the app regularly to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. You agree to install updates when available.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms or misuse the platform.

Upon termination, you must stop using the app and delete it from your device.

8. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms & Conditions periodically. Updates will be posted within the app and on this page. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the revised terms.
